Terms of service
Upon booking a class at Rise & Reform, an individual will need to adhere to the Participation Terms & Conditions which are applicable to every class booking. These are outlined below.
1. Health & Medical Conditions
- By attending classes at R&R, you confirm that you are in good physical health and have no known medical conditions that would prevent you from safely participating in Reformer Pilates.
- It is your responsibility to notify the instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy (current or past), or physical limitations before every class.
- If you are in any doubt about your ability to participate, please consult your GP or healthcare professional before attending.
2. Participation at Your Own Risk
- You acknowledge that Reformer Pilates, like any physical activity, carries inherent risks. By participating, you do so at your own risk.
- R&R and its instructors are not responsible for any injury, illness, or condition that may occur during or as a result of your participation in any class or session.
- You agree to take full responsibility for your own health and safety while attending R&R.
3. COVID-19 & Illness
- Please do not attend class if you are unwell or displaying symptoms of any contagious illness, including COVID-19.
- By attending, you confirm you are fit and well and accept any risk associated with in-person sessions.
4. Cancellations & Late Arrivals
- R&R operates a cancellation policy. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in loss of credit or a fee. Members must cancel a session at least 24 hours prior to its start time to be entitled to a return of class credit. Late cancellations will be charged the full fee. If you do not cancel within 24 hours of the start time and do not show up to the class, you will be charged an extra £5 fee. Please ensure you cancel, even if it is within 24 hours of the start time, so we can accommodate another member on the Waitlist.
- If you arrive late and miss the warm-up, instructors reserve the right to deny entry for your own safety.
5. Studio Etiquette
- Grip socks must be worn on the reformers at all times.
NOTE: If you do not bring grip socks, you can purchase them with cash at the Studio, OR via our website (Merch tab) OR transfer to our Business Account.
- Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time to get settled before class begins.
- Mobile phones should be silenced and kept away during sessions.

6. Personal Belongings
- R&R is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought to the studio.
7. Photography & Marketing
- Occasionally, photos or videos may be taken during classes for use on our website or social media. If you prefer not to appear in any content, please let a member of the team know in advance.
9. Package expiry dates
- 12 Class: 3 months
- 8 Class: 2 months
- 5 Class: 6 weeks
- 3 Class: 1 Month
- Intro Offer: 3 weeks
10. Memberships
- All of our membership packages have a minimum 3-month contract. Minimum Commitment: Subscriptions are non-cancellable for the first 3 months (as applicable) from the initial payment date (the “Minimum Subscription Period”).
- If you wish to cancel so that the Membership does not auto-renew after 3 months, please notify us via email 30 days before the 3rd month's payment due date. Members remain responsible for one month’s fee during this notice period.
- Non-Transferable Membership: Memberships are personal and cannot be transferred. Sharing or lending a membership will result in immediate termination without refund.
- Liability for Unpaid Fees: Members remain liable for the full amount due for the Minimum Subscription Period if payments are missed or if cancellation occurs within this period. Cancelling a direct debit or standing order does not constitute valid cancellation of the contract.
- Cancelling Payment Instructions:
Upon termination, members must cancel their direct debit or standing order with their bank. The Company is not responsible for any payments made due to failure to do so.

- The usual Cancellation Terms & Conditions apply (as per 4. Cancellations & Late Arrivals) A no-show will mean a loss of credit & a £5 fee.

Declaration
When booking a class, we assume you have:
- Read and understood the above terms.
- Voluntarily assumed full responsibility for your participation.
- Released R&R and its staff from any liability for personal injury, loss, or damage.
